Learning Design Conversation Series – Fall 2018

This is the start of an ongoing and exciting faculty conversation series about course design, inspired by Fink’s
(2013) Creating Significant Learning Experiences. One of the key components of good teaching, besides knowledge of the subject matter, teacher-student interactions, and course management is Design of Instruction. Learning Design is a skill that relies on different conceptual tools – and as with any skill, it requires practice, repetition, engagement, purposefulness and feedback.

RSVP for Learning Design conversations at the Center for Teaching and Learning. Lunch will be provided.

These three sessions during Fall 2018 will reference Chapter 1 of the book Creating Significant Learning Experiences, which you can access for your reference here.
