The Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce a new support initiative called the Online Teaching Exchange (OTE), designed to provide faculty with a digital space for the sharing of information and concerns about teaching.
The forum will feature a section for informal posting of questions, answers, and tips, plus a blog for longer topical posts. The OTE will be inaugurated with a post about how professors can identify students who may be having class participation problems due to personal issues, and steer them to Pratt’s help resources such as the Health and Counseling Center and the Learning/Access Center.
The OTE will operate in conjunction with In the Circle, a forum for in-person discussions about teaching.
