Diane Cohen: Community-Building

Our CTL colleague, Diane Cohen, teaches in the IEP, HMS, and WAC departments here at Pratt and has been with the Center for Teaching and Learning as part of the Resilient Teaching Online series since spring.

In addition to facilitating some of the module-based sessions, among others Diane is Faculty Facilitator for a Special Topics session entitled, “Creating Better Student Outcomes Through Community-Building”. In this session, she leads faculty discussion on creating a sense of place through community lounges, breakout rooms, and 1-on-1 conversations. It’s a perfect companion to Module 2 of the Resilient Teaching Online series and beyond. She’s generously shared her session resource which you’ll find below.

If you’d like to join Diane in building spaces, or any of our faculty facilitators, find the sign up here.

And if you’d like interact with the CTL’s Milanote Special Topics boards, click here.

Thanks, Diane!
