Diversity in the Creative Arts with Aurora Robinson

In this five-week seminar run by Aurora Robinson through the Center for Teaching and Learning, participants will begin the process of recognizing elements of their courses that have the potential to open a more global vision of what cultures have ‘had influence’ on the art and design world as our students come to know it.

The course has five parts that offer instructors a rubric for transforming their course work. The expectation is that participants will revise a major project within their course to include a diverse core element as researched in this seminar.

Dates (all Wednesdays from 12-1pm):
March 31
April 28
May 26
June 9
With a reflection celebration and sharing of projects on August 4.

REQUIREMENTS: Participants are expected to attend 4 of the 5 Zoom sessions, as well as share the results of their revised assignment/project with the larger Pratt community.

Adjunct faculty are eligible for a $200 stipend. Space is limited.

Deadline EXTENDED to March 26, 2021. Apply here!
