Miro: A Collaborative Online Whiteboard

Miro: A Collaborative Online Whiteboard

Miro is a collaborative online whiteboard platform designed for remote and distributed teams.

Please click here to view a recording of an introduction to Miro and click here to get access to the templates that were shared at that introduction.

If you would like to join the Slack channel that other faculty are using as a way to share Miro tips, please email Ted Ngai (tngai@pratt.edu). He will add you to the group.

Educational License

To see if your account is on the Pratt educational license, open your Miro settings, click on the “Menu,” navigate to “Team settings,” and see if you are listed as personal or educational plan (as seen below).

Navigate to your Miro settings, and then click the menu. This image shows that the "team profile" option is highlighted. Click here.

View your plan details and see if you are on the educational or personal plan:

When you scroll down to your plan details, your plan will either say personal or educational.

If you are on a personal plan and would like to join Pratt’s educational plan, please navigate to this site:

Click on “Apply now” and use your Pratt email address to verify your work at Pratt. You should receive an email confirmation within 24 hours. Please check your plan on your team profile again after receiving this email.

If asked to include additional information to verify your work at Pratt, please include our accreditation information and a screen shot of your bio in the campus directory.
