Faculty are invited to take part in COMPOSE Fall 2021.
COMPOSE or Contemplative practices in Higher Education is an 8-week long Zoom-based workshop series, open to all members of the Pratt community with a goal of establishing a personal practice framed around the concepts of resilience, learned optimism, and mindfulness.
The content is based on best practices established by the Pratt Meditation Incubator and research based on UPenn’s Positive Psychology Center. COMPOSE’s goal is generating well-being for members of our community that will ultimately translate to classroom and studio practices, work-spaces, collaborations and contributing to a radical improvement of flourishing across the Pratt campus. The COMPOSE project is a collaboration between Pratt’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Pratt’s Resilience, Wellbeing and Wellness Council.
