Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to join us (virtually) at the inaugural meeting of Pratt’s Convening Circle – a community for shared experience and practice. We will be coming together on September 10th at 12 pm (noon) to launch a series of self-initiated small group support circles at Pratt, consisting of faculty, staff, students and alumni who will support each other through practice and community throughout the semester.
We invite those – with interest and experience in a variety of contemplative practices and those who are seeking support for a variety of practices, dialogues and conversations across all of our Pratt community including: collective journaling, gratitude groups, meditation, embodied or movement practices, and more.
This project is a collaboration between Student Affairs and the CTL and has two whole-group meetings per semester: 1/ early-in-the-semester ‘Gathering’ to establish projects or interests and form groups; and 2/at the end of semester ‘Closing’ to check-in, see how it went and how it might continue going forward.
- Online Gathering on: Sept 10 at 12:00pm (noon)
- Online Closing the semester on: Dec 3 at 12:00pm (noon)
If you are interested in participating, please contact us ctl@pratt.edu
