As we approach one year since the release of ChatGPT 3.0, we have all experienced, to some degree, the increased or changed use of AI within our classrooms and in our daily lives. Together, we can share experiences and discuss how these technologies impact higher education. In this conversation, we also look to situate our references within the larger context of AI – not just inside of academia, but across many facets of life. The question remains: How well are we preparing our students for the future?

We’d also like to note that SLAS is bringing Seiji Isotani to speak at Pratt on the subject of AI and Education on September 26th. We hope that this Interactive Conversation can additionally serve as a debrief for folks who attend the talk on 9/26.
