The CTL welcomes all faculty to attend our monthly scheduled interactive conversations around topics on teaching online, hybrid and beyond. This semester, we plan to focus our Interactive Conversations on using Protocols. In education, protocols are ways of structuring a conversation with the aim of providing deep feedback, engaging in problem solving, and listening that generates productive conversations.

Join us on Tuesday March 30th from 12-1:15pm for a collaborative exploration of the many facets of an assignment. This facilitated conversation will introduce the Empire State Partnership protocol as a tool for creating a network of colleagues to help you iterate your assignments by illuminating what your assignments really teach and the complex relationship between what you are teaching and what students are learning.
